Job Overview:
The Danish Refugee Council, a premier humanitarian non-governmental organization globally, is presently seeking a highly qualified Peacebuilding Officer to support our operations in Assosa, Benishangul Gumuz.
The Peace Building Officer shall be responsible for a range of activities pertaining to conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and community engagement, with the objective of fostering peace, reconciliation, and conflict resolution within Ura refugee settlement.
The role holder will collaborate closely with stakeholders at various levels (regional, woreda, kebele, and local) including community leaders and project collaborators to facilitate dialogue, foster relationships, and develop sustainable peacebuilding strategies. He/she will also be responsible for organizing seminars and peace dialogues at the woreda and local levels, overseeing progress, and evaluating impact to foster positive social change.

- Extensive knowledge and experience in operating within conflict-affected and insecure regions.
- Proficient coordination, representation, and interpersonal abilities, complemented by fundamental computer literacy
