Eligibility & Selection Criteria:

  • Domicile Requirement: Candidates must have a Hyderabad (Sindh) domicile/PRC.
  • Educational Qualification: Varies by post, ranging from Primary to Intermediate.

Required Skills:

  • Stenographer (BPS-16): Shorthand 80 WPM, Typing 40 WPM, and MS Office proficiency.
  • Junior Clerk (BPS-11): Typing 40 WPM, MS Office skills.
  • Lift Operator (BPS-02): Relevant practical experience required.
  • Naib Qasid (BPS-03): Skilled trades preferred (Electrician, AC Repair, Bookbinding, Carpenter, Painter, Driving, Cooking).

Age Limit:

  • Posts 3–9: 20–28 years
  • Age relaxation as per government rules; government employees with 3+ years of service may have an upper age limit of up to 30 years.

Selection & Testing Process:

  • Posts 1–2: NTS written test with a minimum of 50% marks, followed by skill and interview tests conducted by the Court’s Departmental Selection Committee (DSC).
  • Post 3 (Bailiff): NTS written test with a minimum of 40% marks, followed by an interview.
  • Posts 4–9: Candidates shortlisted by DSC based on applications; interview schedules posted on Court notice board.

Merit Lists & Results:

  • NTS publishes written test results for posts 1–3.
  • Court publishes skill test and interview schedules on the notice board for all posts.

Application Procedure:

A) Stenographer, Junior Clerk, Bailiff (Posts 1–3) Online via NTS

  1. Go to the NTS website and click on the project page for the District and Sessions Court Hyderabad.
  2. Sign up for an NTS account or log in to an existing one, then choose the job you want to apply for.
  3. Fill out the online application form completely and correctly. Check that your name, father’s name, CNIC, address, and academic information match what’s on your papers.
  4. As directed by NTS, upload scanned copies of the papers that are needed.
  5. Download the fee challan and pay the application fee:
    • Rs. 800 for Stenographer & Junior Clerk
    • Rs. 500 for Bailiff
  6. For your records, print out a copy of the form you sent in and the paid challan. There is no need to send a hard copy.
  7. On the NTS site, you can keep track of roll number slips and test dates.
  8. Prepare for the tests:
    • Stenographer/Clerk: Typing 40 WPM, Stenography 80 WPM, MS Office basics
    • Bailiff: Matric-level general knowledge, English/Urdu comprehension, court procedures
  9. After the NTS written test, you will need to follow the plan set by the Departmental Selection Committee (DSC) for skill tests and interviews at the District Courts in Hyderabad.

B) Naib Qasid, Chowkidar, Sweeper, Lift Operator, Mali (Posts 4–9):

  1. Obtain the prescribed application form (from the Court office or advertisement).
  2. Fill the form in capital letters.
  3. Attach the following:
    • Attested CNIC
    • Attested Domicile/PRC
    • Two recent passport-sized photographs
    • Relevant experience certificates (if applicable)
  4. Submit the completed application by hand or post to:
    The District & Sessions Judge, Hyderabad
  5. Submission Deadline: 25-10-2026 (03:00 PM)
  6. Check the Court Notice Board for:
    • Eligible candidate lists
    • Objection timelines
    • Test/interview dates (expected around 03-11-2026)
  7. At the interview, please bring the original CNIC, academic certificates, domicile, and any other supporting documents for verification.
