Your Role:

In your capacity as the Deputy Director of Leadership Engagement in the Office of the President (GPA), you will be accountable to the Chief of Staff and the Director of Strategy, Planning & Management. The strategic stewardship of the GPA President’s internal and external leadership presence is your responsibility in this hybrid role, which is based in Washington DC. You will:

  • Drive the GPA President’s leadership engagement agenda, which involves the development of both internal and external communities.
  • Supervise the planning, strategy, and execution of executive engagement in accordance with the objectives and foundation priorities of GPA.
  • Oversee GPA’s participation in external advocacy travels and voice initiatives for the Chair and CEO.
  • Facilitate the annual Advocacy and Voice Plan (AVP) of the foundation.
  • Manage a new external Strategic Advisory Group and lead cross-cutting initiatives.
  • Maintain consistent messaging by collaborating with the Executive Trips and Communications teams.
  • To cultivate operational excellence, the Leadership Engagement team should be recruited, trained, and overseen.

This position necessitates exceptional strategic thinking, exceptional discernment, and the capacity to mobilize diverse teams throughout a complex organization. Up to 20% of the time is anticipated to be spent traveling. DC-bound finalists are eligible for relocation assistance.
