UNSCOL (United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to ensure uninterrupted, safe electrical operations across its premises at Villa Sehnaoui, Yarze, Baabda. Result of Service:

The primary outcome of this role is to avoid any electrical problems or malfunctioning in the electricity systems within UNSCOL premises, ensuring a safe and fully operational work environment for all UN personnel and visitors at all times.

Work Location:

This position is based at UNSCOL specifically at Villa Sehnaoui, Yarze, Baabda, Lebanon. All electrical maintenance duties are confined to this UN-designated premises.

Responsibilities of Electrician Jobs in Lebanon:

The incumbent will carry out the following duties on UNSCOL property under the direct direction of the Logistics Assistant:

  • Perform maintenance, inspection, repair, installation, testing, and wiring of all electrical apparatus within UNSCOL premises.
  • Install electrical components in accordance with architectural and code specifications.
  • Run wires through conduit systems as required.
  • Test wiring connections using equipment such as volt/ohmmeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Test and repair electrical-based equipment across the premises.
  • Assist or perform mechanical repairs including 3-phase industrial breakers, conduit running, wire pulling, and machine control panels.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of equipment; test and replace circuit breakers and switches.
  • Provide emergency assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, reporting to the premises promptly when called to resolve any electrical issues.
