Role Overview:
The position focuses on enhancing adoption and scaling of integrated tree-based agricultural systems, aiming to:
- Enhance the sustainability and productivity of farms.
- Optimize the management of forest farms.
- Boost the net income of producers and promote the adoption of tree farming.

The Scientist will be responsible for national-level initiatives and priority landscapes in India, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, state-level partners, government agencies, and private stakeholders.
Responsibilities of Agriculture Scientist Jobs in India:
- Formulate and execute strategies to improve the productivity of farms, the diversity of their crops, and the efficiency of tree farming systems.
- Encourage the adoption of tree cultivation practices by Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and smallholder farmers.

- Master’s or Ph.D. in Agroforestry, Agriculture, Forestry, or related fields. Ph.D. preferred.
