Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship:

The Financial Control Assistant position is allocated to the Technical Assistance Section (CTLA-TA) of the Loan Administration Division (CTLA) within the Controller’s Department (CTL). You will be assigned to our Headquarters located in Manila, Philippines.

Verify that the claims and billings submitted comply with the contractual provisions, pertinent financial covenants, applicable administrative orders and circulars, as well as the established policies and guidelines of ADB.
  • Review the consultant’s contracts to oversee cost estimates, contract modifications, actual disbursements by budget line items, and produce a status update of the consultant’s contracts for the supervisor’s information.
  • Execute transactions by preparing disbursement vouchers, journal vouchers, or other pertinent payment documentation.
  • Monitor advances and liquidations; reconcile matched items; and compile monthly reports on outstanding advances and unresolved items.
  • Provide assistance and collaborate on other divisions as necessary to address urgent and high-priority matters.
  • Participate in innovation initiatives and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned and outlined in your work plan.

Job Condition:

This constitutes a fixed-term appointment for an initial period of three years.
